Landowner Resources
The foothills of Southwest Idaho draw people in for solitude, beauty, and rich natural resources. Whether you want to hike and camp or sit on your back porch with friends, the backdrop of rolling hills draped in rustling pine forest is always there. These lands were once resilient to occasional fires, but like many areas in the West, choked with too many trees and the ground thick with flashy fuels, this place we love is at risk from unnaturally large and severe wildfire, and that threat extends beyond the woods to our community’s infrastructure, water supply, and economic vitality.
The Southwest Idaho All-Lands Partnership is a community-led initiative to help local forest landowners contribute to creating a fire-resilient landscape for their communities. We want to work with you to get resources to treat hazardous fuels and overstocked woods on your forestland, so you can help every avoid losses when wildfire occurs and be a good neighbor to your community.
